Dan and I have had a couple of life changes over the past two months (that don't involve babies) and I thought we'd share, now that I am finally caught up-ish with the blogging.
1) We are making the move to East Bay come late spring/early summer and buying a house there. Dan will be transferring to the SF office to work and I will hopefully be coaching at a new school (I gave my notice of resignation to Drake last week). It's been a long time coming and we are excited to live in a home of our own again. Mom will be our agent and we are so lucky to have her on board. She's the best around, no question about it, and I'm not just saying that because she's my mom. Although there are a few things in Marin I will miss, I am counting the days until we're out of here. It seriously can't come fast enough.
2) Dan was called to be the Second Counselor in our bishopric. Yes, the Stake Presidency knew we were planning on moving when they called Dan, but they were too excited to care, I suppose. :-) Dan has had quite the crash course in bishopic-ing but he is doing a great job. He's also still the Executive Secretary, Financial Clerk, and Youth Sunday School substitute teacher. Whether or not he will get released from those other callings before we even move is anyone's guess. I'm guessing not. ;-)
Otherwise, life is as normal as it gets around here. My cheer season is over, Dan's prepping for yet another go at the PE exam, and Tank is adorable as ever. We are a happy little family.
